“He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:3
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and at
Trinity Way CDC, we want you to know:
Your mental health matters to God and to us.
He sees your thoughts. He understands your emotions.
He cares about your healing.
You were never meant to carry pain alone.
Getting help is not sinful. Needing support is not a lack of faith.
Jesus and therapy can go hand in hand—because God wants you to be whole in body, soul, and
spirit.
5 Faith-Filled Tips for Mental Wellness
1. Pray Honestly
You don’t need fancy words. Just talk to God like you would a friend. Let Him hold your heavy
places.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
2. Speak Truth Over Your Thoughts
Negative thoughts will come—but they don’t have to stay. Speak what God says about you. Let
His Word lead your mind.
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2
3. Move Your Body
A little movement goes a long way. Stretch. Walk. Dance. Movement helps release stress and
lifts your spirit.
“Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.” — 1 Corinthians 6:19
4. Talk to Someone Safe
You don’t have to hold it all inside. Talk with a counselor, pastor, or trusted friend. You’re not
alone.
“Pray for one another so that you may be healed.” — James 5:16
5. Rest Without Guilt
God Himself rested. Your worth isn’t tied to how much you do. You’re allowed to pause.
“In quietness and trust is your strength.” — Isaiah 30:15
Final Word
If you're struggling silently, we want you to hear this: God sees you.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
We were created for community and connection, not isolation. Healing happens when we invite
God in and let others walk with us.
Take one step:
Pray. Talk. Breathe. Rest. Move. Show up.
Your healing is possible. Your peace is promised. And your mental wellness is your portion.
