Dr. Kimberly Ligon is a seasoned mental health professional, faith-driven leader, and Founder & Executive Director of Trinity Way Community Development Corporation, serving families across South Los Angeles. With over 15 years of experience, she has provided individual and group counseling to adolescents and adults navigating complex challenges, including trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, conduct disorders, and substance use.
Dr. Ligon’s clinical experience spans juvenile hall, outpatient hospital settings, and community mental health agencies, where she has facilitated evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Seeking Safety, and anger management groups in both outpatient and probation-based environments. She is also trained in psychological assessment and evaluation, including intelligence, personality, and ADHD assessments, bringing a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to care.
Deeply rooted in her faith, Dr. Ligon is passionate about helping individuals experience true healing, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. She takes a collaborative and culturally responsive approach to care, honoring each person’s unique story and perspective. By integrating cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and multicultural frameworks with faith-based principles, she helps individuals understand how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors while guiding them toward healing, restoration, and wholeness.

Dr. Ligon holds a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
